  1. Is there any problem at 21dn?

The slot has 7 cells but the solution seems to have only six letters.

Probably the setter has a 7-letter answer (a spelling variant) in the gridfill but the clue is for the 6-letter word.

This is an off-the-cuff comment. Please excuse me if I am erring.

  3. CV Sir, I am just checking. Will revert in a while. It appears to be an error only. I seem to be making quite a few of them in the grids.

    1. 7D- Student? Is it T for trainee & C for caught?

      Delete
    2. I used CT for Caught and thought student is superfluous as L is used for student. Your analysis of T for Trainee student throws a new dimension and looks okay with C for Caught. Only Afterdark has to respond what his intention was.

      Delete
    3. The intention was as you stated Rengaswamy. But on hindsight, Padmanabhan's version is better. As it is the clue is not well worded. CT comes after JEE. So 'caught in' is not good.
