What is the role of Byzantine in 1AC? Is it an anagram indicator?
ReplyDeleteYes. I too couldn't figure out, filled it by definition and crossings
DeleteKindly explain
ReplyDeleteYes, in 1AC "Byzantine" is the anagram indicator. In the sense of "devious, complex, convoluted" etc. It is listed as one of the anagram indicators in Chambers Crossword Dictionary as well.
