      Chicken is not only used to refer to a chick (young one) , but also to the grown up bird when used as food. No one says I ate Hen kabab. People call it chicken kabab

      Though Swat is an old kingdom in PoK, here the word is used with the connotation of hit, as in swat a fly, as he was a great hitter

    In the game of Bridge,Diamonds,Spades etc.are called suits. So a card of a Diamond suit for example would be a red card.
