      Mukundala ji Finished is the anagram indicator for MATTE - in the sense of polished , refined, ciultivated etc

      A small titbit
      " "N or M" is the answer to the first question in the Church of England Catechism; thus the person catechised gives his name or names ("Nomen vel nomina"). The "M" came about because in the black letter or Gothic text of old Prayer Books the "nomina" was printed "NN", which was misread by later compositors as "M".'

      Good solve & Clear anno. Vasanth. one of the tricky clue with addition,deletion,substitution. while solving this puzzle I considered the even letter for "Lake" and searching fro deletion indicator. Later, I corrected my error.
