    1. Your query on 1ac, yesterday's puzzle - FLAT ON is ground as AL FONT and laid after naming - BAPTISM -> BAPTISMAL FONT

    2. I understood that. I got it too. What i want to know is naming => baptism=> baptismal - is that a root issue?
      Just for my understanding.
Hence asked Prasad or may be Ajeesh to clarify.

    3. I read the queries and stayed silent because they are above my pay grade. (I am not sure on pure technicality of crossword clue writing. But given that the furniture is uniquely derived from its usage in Baptism ritual, it should)
      Regarding segno, totally illiterate.

    4. noun
the Christian religious rite of sprinkling water on to a person's forehead or of immersing them in water, symbolizing purification or regeneration and admission to the Christian Church. In many denominations, baptism is performed on young children and is accompanied by name-giving.
      "the sacrament of baptism"
      Similar:
      christening
      naming
      immersion
      sprinkling

    5. The query is not about naming to baptism.
But baptismal as baptism+al (derivation from root baptism?).

    6. To elaborate - the other day - pivot => Hinge=> unhinge was declared a root issue.
Hence I just wanted to understand.

  3. Is the angelus a service? It is a routine prayer or incantation repeated three times a day? It is hardly a religious service like the Holy Mass.More like a private prayer.
