5d) maybe ! would have made it easier
      27a) why is of misleading?

      Delete
    8. 5d no not to make it easy. RA is not a normal way of cluing. So it should be indicated in the clue. There are beautiful words that indicate so and at the same time camouflage the clue. ! Is the simplest and yeah the easiest for many solvers.

27a How does "clipped ends of X can be" read vs "clipped ends, X can be".

    9. 5a) could you throw some light on indicators for RA?

    1. 13a) intended as a letter bank clue. Not necessary to be used twice!

      Delete
    2. Intention is OK. But letter Bank has two components. 1 to indicate that individual letters are used more than once (and not necessarily the whole word) and anind.

    5. Repeatedly use is the indicator for taking individual letters. I am not sure if there is a differentiation on use of indicator for individual letters vs the whole word.
