DeleteThank you Vasant. The link was not visible.
DeleteThe colour of the linked word changes. In this case it is green, if you are viewing the web page.
DeleteYes
DeletePrinter's devil.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the High Priestess logic. I can see presses it but not sure the cryptic sufficiently works. I got it but that was more guess work and just filling blanks than actual solving
ReplyDeleteIts a type of clue, RA:reverse anagram. This clue gives jumbled words and asks to figure out the anagram indicator too.
DeleteHere "high" Is the anagram indicator.
High priestess = presses+it
It was fun while single words were used. Now it morphed into multiple words which is not.
But there's no anagrind particularly. The actual clue is An Expert Presses It. No high, etc. I had to guess but I feel that as a clue it doesn't really work if someone doesn't know or is new to cryptics.
DeleteMy doubt is - does HIGH PRIESTESS mean expert? I got the RA part & the solution.
ReplyDeleteMy fav today -
SKELETON (though how do we know essentially means 1 letter or 3?), PRINCESS, GREETING.
Thanx Doc!
