  7. Col.,
We are far better off at Chennai with only a 2 hour power cut. But both of us do not know if and when we will get relief. CM has promised it next year:-)

    1. What is meant by relief is that you will get used to it.

    2. Already people in the suburbs and smaller towns are complaining about preferential treatment to Chennai. It's a question of time before this snowballs

    3. Respected Sirs,

We in all other places except Chennai suffer power cuts of up to eighteen hours a day. It is horrible, especially this preferential treatment to Chennai. Thanks to everyone for bringing up this point.
      Regards,

  11. Good morning all! Great to be back on the 'circuit'. Had been laid low by the mighty Aedes Aegypti. Dengue is not easy to shake off, but Arden had me chafing at the bit - enjoyed the CW today, but did not get 24A and 26A.
Many happy returns to Maradnusro! My birthday was on the 6th, but could not do the CW then.
Happy and peaceful Divali to all.

  12. Missed 1A and 6D despite having all other crossings - my mind just drew a blank and decided to look up the blog. Another lovely run from Arden. 26A - a very nifty 9 letter reverse telescopic clue spanning 4 words.
