Nisha,
ReplyDeleteThe rule is 3 answers per person (3PP)
Sir, thought the restriction is over as I saw allowing two more entries of Vasant above. Sorry.
DeleteQuite an entertaining puzzle.Homonym Clues were very good.An Excellent debut.
ReplyDeleteCol.
ReplyDeleteAnswers published at 12:38 & 10:36 taken together seem to violate the rule of 3
Ramesh/Col:Mea Culpa.Shall take care in future.
ReplyDeleteLovely puzzle. Over use of reportedly as a homophone indicator is one thing that could have been avoided
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the day. Puzzle maintained a balanced difficulty level. Following THC grid style like this suits our mindset.
ReplyDelete9 across: DISABLE; 12 across: ANTIC 3 down: SEBACEOUS
ReplyDeleteOn a first glance, seems to be a good compilation. Will try the rest after a print out, at leisure TNEB permitting.

Nisha @ 12:49,
ReplyDeleteSorry for pulling you up alone, I did not notice that Vasant had exceeded his quota, if so I would have deleted that as well.
Enjoyed the CW. Joined in late.
ReplyDeleteFILLER: I could fill up the whole grid and found it very exhilarating, though it required the use of Spell checker to make sure whether it was DIETITIAN or DIETICIAN. Same with SEBACEOUS or SEBACIOUS. FOT it out after much THOT. Oh, the marvels of fonetics !!
ReplyDeleteCheap it up and cheap us busy
we hace a good Kemistry with you !!
PHILLER: You REPORTEDLY and SUPPOSEDLY are a newcomer ? Phonetically you can can PHILL the gap on every Sundae? It will make us solvers very PHEEL very happy !!
