  4. SNEAK THIEF!

Sneak thieves exist ETERNALLY. And thy have their DIVERS methods. The police have the DATUM.
For the police, in most cases, it is not HARD TO FATHOM as to who could have done it. A chain snatcher will never pick a pocket. One who strikes a RETAIL SELLER will do the same time and again.
    No IMBALANCE there!!
A theft by a GREENIE could be solved as many clues would have been left behind.
    And the CC Cameras!
Almost EVERY reported theft can be solved in the MINDS EYE of the cops.
In some cases light CANING may suffice.
Some others need more time and effort.
If the have the will they can surely find a way.
But for them to have the will....!!!

    1. Spot on CGB. Will they ever have the 'will'? Or it has to be induced and if so how?!
Another nice and enjoyable one from Gridman.

    2. I have a decade of volunteering at the higher echlons of Policing. it depends on whats solving: sneaky theft is Achilles heel of legal system. PROOF is a mirage in such cases. compensating a victim (with significant loss) outside legal system is predominant. the key factor is getting an FIR registered not just a complaint. the order and nature of compensation vary but system has a necessity of closing the case. so in the end who has more patience is what matters?

    3. It is also there in Chambers
