    1. Do they really! This clue is by my better half. She's possibly influenced by the fact that wild horses need to be employed to drag me to do any kind of shopping :)

    giving the word that is to be reversed and the rev ind, leaving out def and other details.

  23. Good teamwork Cryptic Clinic ! How do you put this toghether ? Each individual chips in a word and someone assembles? or ye-all gather together and then decide? If so, The Clinic will lose all its patients ! Hope it is on a day when all of you are free to assemble? Or each one uses his or her Notepad of referral to the other ?!! Ha- ha !

    1. I constructed the crossword grid with the five 'plus' signs. Filled in the grid and then sent 3 words to each doctor to set a clue. (some received 4 words since this is a 32-word grid). I set clues for only 2 words. The rest is entirely set by the doctors with no input (read interference:)) from me.
