      a red table wine from Alicante, Spain (Collins)

    I did the puzzle late in the afternoon. Came here to clear a few annos. Having got used to Arden's tricks like rise=go up and the well disguised elissions, some of the tough clues came off easily. For others had to biff. Thankfully didn't need to take electronic aids.
