    11D was nicely assembled.

  2. In the blog on the present Everyman crossword in 15sqd, the writer mentions the use of what he calls "a neat pair of parallel phrases on the perimeter".
Now, from a time before this I as Gridman have been using parallel phrases in longer 13- 14- or 15-letter slots.
Not sure if this was noticed or commented upon.
    Does anyone remember?

    1. I do remember a few puzzles that had parallel phrases in the long slots just like today's 15A and 18A.
Would have to dig into Archives to exactly pick out the puzzles and the entries.
I also remember a puzzle that had thematic entries in the same row that were antonyms of one another. And a puzzle that had pairs of anagrams. Gridman puzzles that is.
