  17. Nice clues. Two feedbacks for you, Novice. The grid. Three consecutive unches are no-no. Full stop after clues is passe; not required.
    Otherwise an excellent crossword.

      Didn't understand "3 consecutives unches". Can you please expain?
      No full stops the mark tully way. Got it.

    2. Unches are unchecked letters. Letters that don't cross with Down clue letters for an Across clue and vice versa. For example in 1 Across the eighth, ninth and tenth letters are unchecked. Similarly in 14 Across and 27 Across we find three consecutive unches.

    3. Not only no need for full stops,sometimes they may play a major role in the clue itself and may even be a definition for a solution word like period,for example. Comma certainly has been used in the past as part of the clue.
