    An out of turn Hypatia puzzle? Looked for a theme or a Nina. Couldn't find either.
    Enjoyed the puzzle neverthless. Padmasana my favourite.

    How come the order is all mixed up in this round? I was looking to continue Gridman as usual,even granting the Deepaval special.

    14 Across - Letter from Greece united Kelvin with father in Chennai was truly a fantastic brain teaser and of course, as usual I erred by deeming the solution to be ALPHA though I wondered as to how K or Kelvin can be co-related to this clue!!!
    And thanks to the compiler Hypatia since I learnt today the plural for colossus. Of course, the dictinary has mentioned this..

      To have more success, you can always look for the easy to fall clues that will give you a foothold in to the grid. The two long across clues are both long anagrams and if you crack those it opens up almost the entire grid. Usually long clues tend to be atleast partial anagrams. Also, look out for indicators to see what the clue type could be, to help crack the clues. Keep coming back here to see and learn from the annotations and feel free to ask doubts since there are many regulars who help new comers learn.

      That's absolutely great coming from the setter and Supersolver. A guideline for solving!
      That is what almost all solvers do but to explain it like that need a lot of teaching skills. You are also a wonderful teacher!
