DeleteMay I expect an answer to my specific question above. Is promotor an alt sp of promoter? If yes, is the meaning the same or different?
ReplyDeletepromoter
Delete/prəˈməʊtə/
Noun
noun: promoter; plural noun: promoters; noun: promotor; plural noun: promotors
in the sense catalyst. More like Alt word from Latin.
Promote means boost. So promoter is booster. Promotor is one who floats a scheme or project.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am away from home and home library. Will check myself later when I get back from Selaiyur.
