Reference List
Club = B, University = U, Pressure = P, Rugby = RU(Rugby Union), Note = N, Dutch = D
23D- I think Benz is pronounced as 'Bents'(or Bentz) and not 'Bent'. I hesitated before filling in though crossings matched. Homonym clues are many times iffy.
ReplyDeleteI think it is homonym of ;bends', not 'bent'. "is crooked" = 'bends'.
ReplyDeleteThough I have corrected it to bends but 'is crooked' will be bent and not bends. Bends would be 'can be bent'
DeleteAs 'bent' in no way is a HP of Benz with the z or near z sound, I suggested 'bends'. It is an eminently forgettable clue.
