    Talking about brain fade, it is a punishment to fry it further with a tough one lie this, especially in peak summer ! I could get TEN GALLON HATS and LET IT ALL HANG OUT to begin with and then I put the Notebook aside to return to complete in a cooler environ by having the AC on ! EXchequer is a sadist, chuckling in his sleeves with this real Bheja Fry !

      I tend to disagree,Raju..it must have taken XChequer a really long time & hard work to produce a puzzle of this quality..each & every clue has been honed to perfection

    12A: One meaning of found is "Create" which makes it work as an angrind
    Another meaning (from Chambers) is "to cast (metal or glass) by melting and pouring it into a mould" - which also works as anagrind.

    Couldnt get to the puzzle...finally could get at it in cell phone through IA..tough..made doubly tough in cell phone..but somehow finished with lots of anno pending..thanks all for the annos..learnt a lot today
