  3. Didn’t get Murfreesboro and pub crawl. Long ones were easy, strike a bargain and weak at the knees as they are common in the spoken language. A good and was a challenge to me. Nice brain work in the morning. Thank you Dr. X.

  5. An enjoyable challenge today. My favourites ere Pubcrawl, bottle opener, amatory, weak at the knees, strike a bargain. Despite having all checkers, had to Google for the American chief and American city

  8. 5A. - Loads volcanic rock aboard steamer. This clue happened to be very tricky in the sense I reckoned volcanic rock as lava and got stuck in the STUFF and thereby spoilt my attempts in 6-D, 7-D & 8-D...
    Hats off to Dr.X for com[iling this tricky grid.
