  1. Online version doesn't give the setter's name. The trail left by Arden is conspicuous. Thanks

  2. Arden again?? thought change this week.. anyway Bosporus (though i am used to the other spelling) and Laser are rather nice clues.. the "s" replacing the "t" is a newish device.. though next normally should mean letter post t - hence u.. but i suppose it could also mean "next to" ..

    1. When in doubt check: http://chambers.co.uk/search/?query=it&title=21st

2 colloq sex appeal. 3 colloq sexual intercourse.
Wonder if the second meaning in the exact form would be allowed in THCs

    1. Some say IT is sex, some say too much booze and some say IT's superlative ...but people who do crosswords will think twice before they say " I work in the IT industry!"

  8. 20A- adjacent letter would have been more appropriate than next.

  9. Nitpicking here. 25A should correctly be 'what the snakes do'

  10. 10 across:{ARSe} in {OMEN} (????)for back? That for the rear end is it kosher in a crossword ? from ARDEN? what next another four letter word ? I find that it is very rude ; some may call me a prude !
