  22. 1d is a variant spelling and less used, and its not an aleternate spelling.
    IMHO, it needs an indication.
    As usual Dr X is atleast one grade above THC in competitions and this one is no exception in mental workout.


    In online competition I probably wouldnt have got endued (somehow i cant remember that word)
    And hair of the dog without crossies.

  23. Hair of the dog is frequently used as a cure for hangover (more in jest?)
    We can take supply from (supple-y) But I understand difficult to get (without doubt/crossings) in a competition.

  25. Rio Verde is too tiny and obscure a place to merit asking about IMO. Also, it's not even a uniquely named place; in Brazil alone there are four. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rio_Verde
