    1. Bacardi is a brand of Rum mainly known for it's white rum. I'm a Gin/Vodka drinker, not particularly fond of Rum

  7. Half went in easily, most of the rest took ages to decipher, and had to finally give up on two of them: ARABLE and VERDANDI (the latter I can live with; not getting the former is galling!). Great puzzle as usual, xChequer - thanks for the enjoyable workout!
