A coroner is a judicial officer who inquires into probable cause of death and the killer. He need not be a medical person and does not examine bodies- so can't be called a 'stiff examiner'.

    1. "Shifts to" is an Anagram Indicator
Ascension Island is part of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, a British Overseas Territory located in the South Atlantic (capital is Jamestown).
As indicated by AJ, Asunción is the capital of Paraguay. Arden needs to clarify.

    2. I know about the Ascension islandin St. Helena and the one which is a British overseas territory. Neither of them is a capital city.

    3. AJ is right. I made a mistake. My apologies

  31. 'Shifts' is more an anind than a homophone indicator. Seems to be a problem about the spelling of the capital.
