Quite an easy one! Thanks Spinner
ReplyDeleteTypical spinner. Very neatly done. Missed a few including molecule & august.
ReplyDeleteLoved the bulldozer & diagonal meeting.
Slumber party was new, though heard of 'sleep over'.
A few setters around. I thought there may be other setters as well.
ReplyDeleteSpinner bowls an easy spell today..no vicious turners on a placid track..lots of anagrams, afew references to cricket, many setters as Paddy observed..Bulldozer was nicely done & so was Slumber Party..Thanks Spinner
ReplyDeleteNice puzzle. No problem posed by spinner today. Couldn't parse Bulldozer, otherwise a happy solve. Thanks spinner.
ReplyDeleteInvestor = Bull; accomplish = do; almost nothing = almost zero.. so bull do zer.. and it means one who intimidates
DeleteThank you, Srividya.
DeleteOkay.. spinner spun a set of lightweight clothes today.. perhaps weather too hot for anything heavy atm ? :) I thought there might be a spanish sorta theme what with columbias..and fiestas.. but weirdly columbia is the city (I presume DC)... not the country. Diagonal took me a bit.. i solved it first as diameter..and well that had me pipped for a bit..Diagonal is quite a clue :) Also listeners surface is quite uhmm.. intriguing .. btw why only 5 comments on this beautiful puzzle ? :(
ReplyDeleteMonday morning blues, I suppose. Thanks for all the wonderful comments :)
