14a SCRAGS = Small meat pieces
ReplyDeleteSS from son's, C for club and RAG for badger
S+C+RAG+S
Or the last 's' for small?
DeletePerhaps so. My anno was based on "small meat pieces" being the definition since dictionary defines scrags as lean or small pieces of veal etc.
DeleteSince pieces indicate smallness, we are forced to take meat pieces as def.and second S from small- addtionally it is given in brackets.
ReplyDeletewell explained Paddy sir. I have considered Son-S and Son's - s. Though my answer was right . but a small tweak in anno. corrected my error. Thanks Paddy sir.
