      "Fire extinguished" cannot be Def.
      2. You have not accounted for the 'd' at the end of DOUSED

    At home=in. It is contained by Can (= fire) & E (extiguished at the beginning).
    Canine= Of the dog
    But I have my doubts about can=fire.Yet to check up.
