    1. I dont think he will ever be forgotten..his teachings, principles, etc. shall continue to inspire generations.
Remembered the title of the chapter of his assasination in the seminal work " Freedom at Midnight"- The second crucifixtion-which sums up his status as someone akin to Christ

  5. Very enjoyable crossword. Thank you Gridman. I've been quite erratic in attending to the Hindu crosswords, but I do enjoy the time I spend on them!

  6. Felt today's crossie was a challenging one, at least for me!

26 On the outskirts of Pondy, a hint is dropped by fraternal order (7) PYTHIAN {PondY}{A+HINT}*

    1. That makes two of us , MB. Very strangely, I find it hard going , especially PYTHIAN. New one for me. Another new one was, DRAGANON and yet another new one was SCRAW. MAJOLICA is unusual again. SINDI without an H is a new one for me. I had a Sind (h)i gf whom I dated long ago before I met my true love. WAR PARTY reminds me of the current CBI, marauders into the opposition territory. All in all, goes to prove that in cryptic crossies, one is humbled by the knowledge that one knows it all ! Its a vast galaxy where one gets to discover new stars and planets.

I wonder, how Vasant and KKR found this to be a FREE VERSE. Thanks you Gridman .

  10. 1D Press=draw attention? How?
3D Don't get it.... Whats the ungrammatical declaration? I work? How does RON fit in?
20D 'It' should be case, right?
25D Soft is P or S or both?

    ReplyDelete
  11. 25D- Hindi-H(ard)+S(oft). P- Piano- soft does not apply here.
3D- I, boy(Ron) works- work would be grammatical and works is ungrammatical.
20D- Yes, 'It' has to be case.
