  13. I enjoyed this puzzle, although I found some of the 5-letter words tricky because they only provide 2 checked letters (12A, 19A, 9D, 22D). I like both of the movies highlighted in the long-bomb spots (I assume our setter does, too) and I got the book at 6D from the wordplay but had to Google that title since I'd never heard of it (although I have heard of Barbara Kingsolver). The synopsis makes it sound like a good read. Thanks to Afterdark for the puz! (And the book recommendation.)

For increasing my own knowledge, a few queries Sir, since I struggled with the parsing while solving.

23D Can "grab" be used as a juxtaposition indicator?

26D "A puff of" can be head selection indicator?

      If I may answer
23D: grab is a common enough container indicator I think
26D: A puff of or a trace of I think is fair enough head selection indicator
      25A: You would know!

    2. I was under the impression Grab can only be used as containment ind. Tx for clarifying Vasant. :)
